Yuko Shiraishi
Assemble - Disperse

3rd May - 2nd June 2001

Yuko Shiraishi is one of the most sensitive painters working in Britain today, exploring pure colour and its full range of mood provoking relationships.

Her exhibition will consist of three different parts. The rear space of the gallery will be transformed into an installation room, and the main gallery space will show her latest individual paintings. The small room adjoining the main gallery will be used as a project space showing models and maquettes for the FIH (Field Institute Hombroich) in Neuss, Germany, of works she has created in conjunction with Katsuhito Nishikawa and Tadashi Kawamata.
