Annely Juda Fine Art seeks Gallery Receptionist

for new London Gallery

The role will be situated at the ground floor reception desk of the Mayfair gallery 5 days per week, reporting to and carrying out duties predominantly for the gallery.  Some responsibilities will pertain to the other 3-4 businesses located in the building.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors to the gallery as well as visitors to other businesses in the building
- Responsible for postal mail for the whole building / arrange couriers for the gallery
- Direct guests accordingly for appointments
- Provide information to visitors about the exhibition(s) on view
- Manage printed / QR code information available to the public on the exhibition(s)
- Database management using Artlogic  (artwork and mailing list)
- Image editing
- Website and other online platform editing such as Artsy and Artnet
- Social media – assisting with the strategy and posting on the gallery Instagram
- Maintain ongoing internal documents such as artist biographies, CVs and  provenance records.
- Attendance at gallery evening opening events approximately once every 2 months
- Possibility of working the occasional Saturday with a day off in lieu

 

Desired Skills/Qualifications

-              Experience in a front desk / customer facing role, preferably within the arts sector

-              Friendly and affable, reliable

-              Proficiency in Artlogic, Microsoft office (essential), Photoshop (preferred) SketchUp or Rhino (preferred)

Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

Start date November 2025
