Vic Gentils: Sculpture and Assemblage (Hamilton Galleries)

6 June - 6 July 1967

I first saw the work of Vic Gentils at the Biennale, Venice 1964. I was immensely impressed by the versatility and the use of found materials, piano pieces, frames, etc.

His work radiated for me such joy of living and such a feeling for material, that I was happy to come more closely in contact with his work through the Galerie Krugier, and we decided that it was time Vic Gentils should have a show in London.

We are very much indebted to the Galerie Krugier for their kind co-operation in making this exhibition possible.
